- Design and develop innovative mechanical solutions for surgical robots using your expertise in mechatronics.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to create and implement new designs that improve the performance and functionality of surgical robots.
- Conduct research and experiments to continuously improve the mechanical design of surgical robots and stay updated with the latest advancements in the field.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for the production of mechanical components.
- Perform analysis and simulations to ensure the reliability and safety of mechanical designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during the development and testing phases.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components with software and hardware systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of mechanical designs to ensure they meet performance and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams during the manufacturing process.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for innovation and improvement to enhance the overall functionality and usability of surgical robots.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards in the design and development process.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all designs, experiments, and testing results.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechatronics and mechanical engineering.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and interns to support their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to source and evaluate new materials and components for use in surgical robots.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Mechanical Design And Development, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.
Proficiency In Cad Software, Such As Solidworks Or Autocad, For 3D Modeling And Design.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Or A Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Mechatronics Systems, Including Sensors, Actuators, And Control Systems.
Experience With Product Development Processes, Including Design Verification And Validation, Risk Management, And Design For Manufacturability.
