4. Lead and manage sustainability projects, including setting project goals, timelines, and budgets, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and tracking progress.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as suppliers, customers, NGOs, and government agencies, to drive sustainability initiatives and foster partnerships.
6. Conduct assessments and audits to measure and report on the company's environmental impact, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to mitigate negative impacts.
7. Communicate sustainability goals, progress, and initiatives to internal and external audiences through various channels, such as reports, presentations, and events.
8. Collaborate with the company's supply chain and procurement teams to integrate sustainability principles into sourcing and procurement processes.
9. Identify and recommend innovative and cost-effective solutions to improve the company's sustainability performance, such as renewable energy, waste reduction, and water conservation.
10. Monitor and ensure compliance with sustainability regulations and standards, and proactively identify and address any potential risks or non-compliance issues.
11. Develop and manage budgets and resources for sustainability initiatives, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
12. Lead and mentor a team of sustainability professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
13. Act as a company representative in sustainability-related events, conferences, and meetings, promoting the company's sustainability efforts and sharing best practices with external stakeholders.
14. Continuously evaluate and improve the company's sustainability performance and processes, and recommend and implement changes as needed.
