
Staff PDK Development Engineer - Physical Verification Runset

- Develop and maintain Physical Design Kits (PDKs) for Intel's semiconductor products.
- Create and validate physical verification runsets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any issues in the PDK development process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in PDK development to continuously improve and innovate.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of PDKs to ensure compatibility with various physical design tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to PDKs and physical verification runsets.
- Document PDK development processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on PDK development and physical verification runsets.
- Communicate and coordinate with external partners and vendors for PDK development.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on physical design guidelines and methodologies.
- Keep track of project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Continuously analyze and improve the PDK development process to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Act as a subject matter expert on PDK development and physical verification runsets within the team and company.
- Adhere to industry standard best practices and quality standards for PDK development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Physical Design And Verification, Specifically In Developing Runsets For Pdks.
Extensive Knowledge Of Industry-Standard Eda Tools And Flows For Physical Design And Verification, Including Cadence, Synopsys, And Mentor Graphics.
Strong Understanding Of Semiconductor Process Technology And Its Impact On Physical Design And Verification.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Cross-Functional Team Environment.
