Software Quality Engineer

Drives software quality from concept to delivery via specific KPIs and quality targets. Works with product development teams throughout development phases to ensure software quality requirements and goals are established and met to determine release readiness and risks. Analyzes product quality data and drives improvements through defect prediction models, requirements traceability, and SWLC optimizations. Improves customer experience with critical issue management, throughput time, root cause analysis, and software practices assessments. May work directly with customers to understand requirements upfront, pain points during development and delivery, and drive execution improvements through Intel's development life cycle. May create tools and automation to support quality evaluation and data analytics (e.g., SWLC, Defects, uQRC vectors), perform out-of-box testing for software products to recreate customer experiences and pain points, and assess the state of the art to employ new methods to improve quality and product release efficiency.
