Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Microprocessor Architecture And System-Level Design: A Soc Design Engineer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Microprocessor Architecture And Be Able To Design Complex System-Level Solutions. This Includes Experience With Different Processor Architectures, Bus Protocols, And Memory Interfaces.

  • Proficiency In Rtl Design And Verification: A Soc Design Engineer Should Have Hands-On Experience With Rtl Design And Verification Using Hdl Languages Such As Verilog And Systemverilog. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Design Flow And Be Able To Write Efficient, Reusable Code.

  • Experience With Manual Debug Tools And Methodologies: As A Member Of The Manual Debug Team, A Soc Design Engineer Should Be Well-Versed In The Use Of Various Manual Debug Tools And Methodologies. This Includes Experience With Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, And Simulation Tools.

  • Knowledge Of Industry-Standard Debug Protocols: A Soc Design Engineer Should Have A Good Understanding Of Industry-Standard Debug Protocols Such As Jtag And Ieee 1149.1. They Should Also Be Familiar With Debug Interfaces Such As Uart And Usb.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: A Soc Design Engineer Should Possess Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Effectively Debug Complex Issues. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Large Amounts Of Data, Identify Root Causes Of Issues, And Propose Effective Solutions.
