
Silicon Photonics R&D Engineer
Intel is looking for a talented and experienced Silicon Photonics R&D Engineer to join our team. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology and who is excited to contribute to the development of the next generation of photonics components.This engineer will be responsible for researching, developing, testing, and evaluating new photonics components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, optics, photonics, and optics communication. They will have excellent problem solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of optical communication systems and components, experience in designing and building micro-photonics components, and expertise in the development of test systems and production processes. Responsibilities:
- Research, develop, test, and evaluate new photonics components and systems.
- Design and build micro-photonics components.

Electrical Engineering
Msc Or Phd In Optics
Physics Or Related Field
Experience With Optical Design Tools
Such As Rsoft And/Or Zemax
Experience With Opto-Electronic Component Design And Fabrication.
