Knowledge Of High-Speed Digital Design: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of High-Speed Digital Design Principles And Techniques, Including Signal Propagation, Transmission Line Theory, And Pcb Layout.
Familiarity With Signal Integrity Tools: Proficiency In Using Signal Integrity Tools Such As Hyperlynx, Ads, And/Or Cadence Allegro Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Perform Signal Integrity Simulations, Analyze Results, And Make Design Recommendations.
Experience With Lab Equipment: The Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Lab Equipment Such As Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, And Tdrs. Knowledge Of How To Set Up And Take Measurements Using These Tools Is Crucial For Validating Signal Integrity Simulations.
Understanding Of High-Speed Protocols: A Good Understanding Of High-Speed Protocols Such As Pcie, Usb, And Ethernet Is Necessary For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Analyze Signal Integrity Issues Specific To These Protocols And Propose Solutions.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Student Worker At Intel, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With A Team Of Engineers.
