- Conduct in-depth static timing analysis (STA) to ensure accurate timing closure for complex designs.
- Develop and implement advanced STA methodologies to improve timing closure efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with design, verification, and physical implementation teams to identify and resolve timing issues.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to analyze and debug timing violations.
- Generate and maintain timing constraints for multiple designs and process nodes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize timing performance and meet project timelines.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and incorporate new techniques to improve STA methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior STA engineers in understanding and utilizing timing analysis tools and methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide regular updates on project progress and escalate any roadblocks.
- Proactively identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Participate in design reviews and provide valuable inputs for timing closure and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.
- Work collaboratively with external vendors and partners to integrate their timing constraints and methodologies.
- Document and present STA methodologies, results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Continuously strive for improvement and innovation in STA methodologies to enhance overall product performance.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Semiconductor Industry, Specifically In Sta.
Expertise In Industry Standard Eda Tools Such As Primetime, Tempus, And/Or Primpro.
Extensive Knowledge Of Timing Closure Methodologies And Techniques.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Independently Debug Complex Timing Issues.
