Senior Optical Modulator Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Optical Modulator Design Engineer to join Intel's team. This position requires a person who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a passion for making a difference in the optical communications industry. We are looking for someone who can work independently and collaboratively with other teams to design optical modulators that meet customer requirements, performance goals, and cost targets.To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, as well as five or more years of experience in optical modulator design and development. In addition, you must have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and concepts, experience in the design and testing of optical systems, and excellent problem solving and communication skills. Previous experience in a high-tech environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop optical modulators that meet customer requirements and performance goals.
2. Utilize electrical engineering principles and concepts to create solutions.
3. Collaborate and communicate effectively with other teams and stakeholders.
4. Develop, test, and troubleshoot optical systems.
5. Analyze and optimize cost targets.
6. Identify and resolve technical issues.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and standards.
8. Prepare and present technical reports and presentations.
9. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
10. Execute other duties as assigned.
