In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).   1. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
  2. Stay up-to-date on all SEC regulations and accounting principles to ensure compliance in all financial reporting.
  3. Prepare and review all SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks.
  4. Collaborate with various departments, including finance, legal, and investor relations, to gather and analyze financial data for SEC reporting purposes.
  5. Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's financial statements and footnotes, ensuring all information is accurately reflected in SEC filings.
  6. Manage and coordinate the internal review process for all SEC filings, including obtaining necessary approvals and signatures.
  7. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure SEC filings are in line with audit requirements.
  8. Monitor and assess changes in SEC regulations and accounting principles and make recommendations for updates or changes to processes and procedures as needed.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  10. Act as a key point of contact for any SEC-related inquiries from investors, analysts, or other external parties.
  11. Proactively identify and address any potential issues or discrepancies in financial reporting to ensure the company's compliance with SEC regulations.
  12. Continually seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of SEC reporting processes.
  13. Train and mentor junior team members to ensure a high level of knowledge and understanding of SEC reporting requirements and processes.
  14. Represent the company's financial reporting function at external conferences and industry events.
  15. Embody and promote Intel's values of innovation and excellence in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Strong Foundation In Accounting And Finance Is Essential For A Sec Reporting Manager, As This Role Involves Preparing And Reviewing Financial Statements And Ensuring Compliance With Accounting Standards.

  • Cpa Certification: Many Companies, Including Intel, Prefer Candidates For Sec Reporting Manager Roles To Hold A Cpa Certification. This Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Expertise In Accounting Principles And Regulations.
