Job Description

At Intel, we are searching for a Quality and Reliability Engineer who is passionate about driving end-to-end quality and reliability. This role requires an individual that is meticulous and detail-oriented, with an eye for customer experience and a dedication to continuous improvement. We are looking for an individual who is eager to make a difference in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or an equivalent field; a minimum of 5+ years of experience in hardware reliability and quality engineering with a focus on consumer products; experience in developing, implementing, and executing reliability and quality plans, processes, and procedures; and a working knowledge of statistics and quality tools. In addition, the ideal candidate must have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality and reliability plans, processes and procedures.
  2. Execute quality and reliability plans, processes and procedures.
  3. Identify and report process and product quality issues.
  4. Monitor customer experience and suggest improvements.
  5. Conduct statistical analysis and use quality tools to evaluate product performance.
  6. Develop and review test plans and methodologies to ensure product reliability.
  7. Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure product reliability.
  8. Provide guidance and training to team members on quality and reliability related processes and procedures.
  9. Monitor regulatory requirements and industry standards related to quality and reliability and ensure compliance.
  10. Utilize problem-solving techniques to identify, analyze, and resolve quality and reliability issues.
