- Develop and implement new plating techniques to improve the performance and reliability of Intel's microchips.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address plating process challenges.
- Design experiments and conduct testing to evaluate the effectiveness of new plating methods.
- Analyze data and present findings to management and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and advancements in plating technology to identify potential opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in plating processes and develop solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of plating processes and procedures.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on plating techniques and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in plating operations.
- Participate in the development and optimization of new products and processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source new plating materials and equipment.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and regulations related to plating processes.
- Continuously identify and propose new ideas and strategies to enhance plating processes and improve product quality.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Intel's plating technology roadmap.
- Represent Intel at industry conferences and events to showcase the company's plating capabilities.
Bachelor's Degree In Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Plating Process Development And Optimization.
Proficiency In Cad Software And Experience With Design And Interpretation Of Plating Specifications.
Strong Understanding Of Electroplating Techniques And Processes, Including Surface Preparation, Plating Chemistry, And Troubleshooting.
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
