- Develop and drive the platform roadmap for Intel's products, including setting strategic direction, defining product requirements, and managing the overall product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of the platform roadmap.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and competitive landscape, and use this information to inform platform strategy and product development.
- Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize and manage platform feature development, ensuring that product requirements are met and products are delivered on time.
- Communicate and present platform roadmap and product updates to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, customers, and partners.
- Monitor and analyze platform performance, including sales, market share, and customer satisfaction, and use this data to inform future platform strategy and product enhancements.
- Manage platform budget and resources effectively, ensuring that project timelines and deliverables are met within budget.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology, and use this knowledge to drive innovation and maintain Intel's competitive edge.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth and development.
- Represent Intel at industry events and conferences, showcasing our platform technology and engaging with customers and partners.
Strong Technical Background: A Platform Product Manager At Intel Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Hardware And Software Technologies, With A Strong Background In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field. This Knowledge Is Essential To Effectively Manage And Drive The Development Of New Platform Products.
Experience In Product Management: Candidates For This Role Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Product Management, Preferably In The Technology Or Semiconductor Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Launching And Managing Complex Products From Concept To Market.
