Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Computer Architecture: This Includes A Thorough Understanding Of Processor, Memory, And System Bus Architectures, As Well As Knowledge Of Hardware Design Principles And Techniques.

  • Proficiency In Hardware Design And Development Tools: Candidates Should Have Experience With Industry-Standard Hardware Design And Development Tools, Such As Schematic Capture, Pcb Layout, And Simulation Software.

  • Familiarity With X86 And Arm Processors: Intel's Platforms Are Built On X86 And Arm Processors, So Candidates Should Have Experience With These Architectures And Their Associated Toolchains.

  • Understanding Of System-Level Design: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of How Individual Hardware Components Come Together To Form A Complete System, As Well As Knowledge Of System-Level Design Considerations Such As Power Management And Thermal Management.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: The Role Of A Platform Hardware And Systems Engineering Intern Or Graduate Requires The Ability To Identify And Solve Complex Hardware Design Issues, Often Under Tight Deadlines.
