  1. Collaborate with the design team to understand the specifications and requirements for the development of the newest CPU Core IP.
  2. Utilize your expertise in physical design and layout to create high-quality, efficient and reliable microprocessor designs.
  3. Work with the latest tools and techniques to develop cutting-edge solutions for high-performance and low-power computing devices.
  4. Conduct thorough analysis and verification of designs to ensure they meet performance and power targets.
  5. Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams including RTL design, verification, and packaging to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the final product.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in physical design and incorporate them into design strategies.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any physical design issues that may arise during the development process.
  8. Maintain and update design documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  9. Participate in design reviews and provide valuable insights and suggestions for improving design efficiency and performance.
  10. Adhere to company processes and guidelines for physical design and layout to ensure consistency and quality of work.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and improve physical design methodologies and processes.
  12. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects within designated timelines and budgets.
  13. Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns in physical design techniques and best practices.
  14. Adhere to company policies and standards for confidentiality and protection of intellectual property.
  15. Represent Intel in a professional and positive manner while working with external partners and vendors.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Or Computer Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Physical Design And Implementation Of Cpu Core Ip.

  • Expertise In Industry Standard Eda Tools Such As Synopsys Design Compiler, Cadence Encounter, And Mentor Graphics Calibre.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Standard Design Methodologies Such As Floorplanning, Power Grid Design, Timing Closure, And Physical Verification.

  • Proficiency In Scripting Languages Such As Tcl, Perl, Or Python For Automation Of Design Tasks.
