  1. Develop, implement, and maintain network security protocols and procedures to protect against cyber threats and attacks.
  2. Monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious or unauthorized behavior.
  3. Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure network architectures and systems.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our security infrastructure.
  6. Act as a subject matter expert on network security, providing guidance and support to other teams and departments.
  7. Identify and address any security gaps or vulnerabilities in existing systems and processes.
  8. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures in the event of a security breach.
  9. Provide regular reports and updates on the status of network security to management and stakeholders.
  10. Participate in the evaluation and selection of new security tools and technologies.
  11. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the software development process.
  12. Actively monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents.
  13. Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
  14. Act as a liaison with external security vendors and partners.
  15. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, to raise awareness of security issues and promote best practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Network Security Principles And Best Practices, Including But Not Limited To Firewalls, Intrusion Detection And Prevention Systems, Antivirus/Anti-Malware Software, And Encryption Protocols.

  • Proficiency In Coding And Scripting Languages Such As Python, Java, And Bash, With A Focus On Automating Security Processes And Integrating Security Into The Devops Pipeline.

  • Experience With Devops And Agile Methodologies, As Well As Familiarity With Related Tools Such As Git, Jenkins, And Docker.

  • Knowledge Of Cloud Computing Platforms, Particularly Amazon Web Services (Aws) And Microsoft Azure, And Their Security Implications.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment. Additionally, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Required To Effectively Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
