  1. Develop and implement materials planning and supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials for production.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements and forecast demand to support production schedules.
  3. Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and work with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
  5. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of materials.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability of materials.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  8. Work with engineering teams to identify alternative materials and suppliers to support cost reduction initiatives.
  9. Analyze and report on key performance indicators related to materials planning and supply chain management.
  10. Lead and participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate material status, potential issues, and action plans.
  11. Utilize project management tools and techniques to track and manage materials-related tasks and timelines.
  12. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to drive operational excellence.
  13. Train and mentor team members on materials planning and supply chain management processes.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and developments to anticipate potential impacts on materials supply and availability.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Materials Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Materials Sourcing, Procurement, And Inventory Management Processes.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills With The Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Materials Management, Such As Iso 9001 Or Rohs Compliance.
