  1. Develop and implement materials management strategies and processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials for production needs.
  2. Monitor and analyze inventory levels, production schedules, and demand forecasts to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, production, and engineering, to align materials management strategies with overall business objectives.
  4. Oversee the procurement of materials from external suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of materials.
  5. Conduct regular audits of materials inventory and implement corrective actions to maintain accurate and efficient inventory levels.
  6. Identify and drive process improvements and cost-saving opportunities in materials management, such as implementing lean principles and optimizing supply chain logistics.
  7. Develop and maintain metrics and reports to track materials management performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
  8. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in materials management and supply chain management to continuously improve processes and stay competitive.
  9. Train and mentor team members to ensure a high level of knowledge and expertise in materials management.
  10. Represent the materials management function in cross-functional meetings and make strategic recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and industry knowledge.
  11. Manage and report on the materials program budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  12. Comply with all company policies and procedures related to materials management, including safety, quality, and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Supply Chain Management Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Materials Planning And Management In A High-Tech Manufacturing Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Materials Management Processes And Supply Chain Optimization Strategies.

  • Proficiency In Using Erp Systems, Such As Sap, For Materials Planning And Inventory Management.

  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
