This includes managing material inventory levels, vendor relationships, and supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.   1. Develop and implement materials strategies to support business goals.
  2. Manage material inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and minimize excess stock.
  3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
  4. Analyze supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand materials requirements and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to materials management, such as inventory levels, lead times, and on-time delivery.
  7. Proactively anticipate and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions or issues.
  8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize materials management processes and procedures.
  9. Coach and develop team members to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in materials management to identify new opportunities for improvement.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to provide updates on materials management activities and progress towards goals.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to materials management.
  13. Develop and manage budgets for materials and supply chain activities.
  14. Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on materials management and provide guidance and support to other teams as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Materials Management Or Supply Chain Management Role, Preferably In A High-Tech Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Materials Planning, Inventory Control, And Supply Chain Management Principles.

  • Experience With Erp Systems And Proficiency In Ms Excel.

  • Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Project Management Skills.
