  1. Develop and implement tax strategies for mergers and acquisitions in alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  2. Conduct thorough analysis of tax implications and risks associated with potential M&A transactions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and accounting, to ensure tax compliance and optimize financial outcomes.
  4. Provide guidance and support to the M&A team in negotiating and structuring deals to maximize tax benefits.
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and advise the organization on potential impacts to M&A activities.
  6. Lead due diligence efforts to identify potential tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
  7. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and oversee their work in M&A tax matters.
  8. Prepare and review tax documents and filings related to M&A transactions.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on tax matters.
  10. Mentor and develop team members to build a strong M&A tax function within the organization.
  11. Continuously assess and improve tax processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  12. Represent the company in tax-related discussions and negotiations with external parties.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive tax information and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
