Job Description

We at Intel are looking for a Foundry Failure Analysis Engineer who is passionate about developing microelectronic technology and can drive projects to completion. In this role, you will investigate product and process failures, identify root cause, and recommend corrective actions in order to improve yield and reduce cost. To be successful in this position, you should have a strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and process technology, solid problem solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. If you are excited by the challenge of developing and introducing new technologies, then this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and investigate product and process failures in semiconductor manufacturing.
  2. Utilize problem-solving techniques to determine root cause of failures.
  3. Develop corrective action plans to improve yield and reduce cost.
  4. Analyze data and provide recommendations to improve failure analysis processes.
  5. Maintain and update failure analysis databases.
  6. Develop and implement new failure analysis techniques.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.
  8. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the industry.
  10. Provide guidance and coaching to junior engineers.

Job Qualifications
