Job Description

Intel is seeking a Facilities Technician Intern to help maintain and repair our facilities and ensure that our spaces are safe and comfortable for our employees.To be successful in this role, you should have a basic understanding of facilities operations, maintenance, and repair. You must also be able to work independently and have excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform preventive maintenance and repair of all facilities equipment, systems, and structures.
  2. Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems related to facility operations.
  3. Monitor building systems and equipment and report any issues to the Facilities Manager.
  4. Carry out routine inspections of all facilities and report on any safety or operational concerns.
  5. Assist with the coordination of contractors for facility repairs and maintenance.
  6. Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and equipment maintenance.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
  8. Adhere to all company guidelines and procedures.
  9. Provide support to other staff members and departments as needed.
  10. Keep up to date with industry developments and best practices.
