Job Description

  1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on all mechanical systems within the facility, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical systems and develop effective solutions.
  3. Ensure all mechanical equipment and systems are operating safely and efficiently.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and team members to identify and resolve any facility-related issues.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in mechanical engineering and apply them to improve facility operations.
  7. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all mechanical systems to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  9. Communicate effectively with management and other team members to report any problems or concerns.
  10. Maintain inventory of necessary equipment and supplies and order replacements as needed.
  11. Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform repairs as needed.
  12. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  13. Participate in training programs to continuously improve skills and stay updated on new technologies and equipment.
  14. Follow all company policies and procedures related to facility maintenance and repairs.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Hvac Systems And Equipment: This Includes Experience With Troubleshooting, Repairing, And Maintaining Various Types Of Hvac Systems, Such As Chillers, Boilers, Air Handlers, And Ventilation Systems.

  • Experience With Building Automation Systems: A Facilities Mechanical Technician At Intel Should Have Experience Working With Building Automation Systems, Such As Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Or Siemens. They Should Be Able To Program, Troubleshoot, And Repair These Systems.

  • Familiarity With Electrical Systems: In Addition To Hvac And Building Automation Systems, A Facilities Mechanical Technician Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Electrical Systems, Including Experience With Troubleshooting And Repairing Motors, Pumps, And Other Electrical Components.

  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Mechanical Aptitude And Be Able To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals, Diagrams, And Blueprints. They Should Also Have Experience Using A Variety Of Hand And Power Tools.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Regulations: A Facilities Mechanical Technician Should Be Familiar With Osha Regulations And Have Experience Working In A Safe And Compliant Manner. They Should Also Have Experience With Lockout/Tagout Procedures And Other Safety Protocols.
