We are seeking a skilled and passionate Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain state-of-the-art facilities. As a Facilities Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and keeping them at the cutting edge of technology. We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical engineering background and a drive to constantly improve and optimize our facilities.   1. Design and oversee the installation of mechanical systems in our facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of all mechanical systems.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
  4. Collaborate with other teams and departments to develop and implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and emerging technologies to continuously improve and optimize our facilities.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues or malfunctions that may arise in our facilities.
  7. Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including tracking expenses and budgeting for future projects.
  8. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in the design and operation of mechanical systems.
  9. Train and supervise junior engineers and technicians in the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
  10. Collaborate with external contractors and vendors on projects and maintenance tasks as needed.
  11. Participate in the planning and execution of facility expansion and renovation projects.
  12. Communicate regularly with management and other stakeholders to provide updates on facility performance and any necessary repairs or upgrades.
  13. Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in facility operations.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all Intel policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Facilities Engineering, Preferably In A High-Tech Manufacturing Environment

  • Strong Knowledge Of Hvac Systems, Building Automation, And Energy Management

  • Experience With Project Management And Ability To Lead And Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Ashrae, Nfpa, And Osha.
