
Facilities Mechanical Engineer

- Design and oversee the installation of mechanical systems in our facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of all mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to develop and implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and emerging technologies to continuously improve and optimize our facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues or malfunctions that may arise in our facilities.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including tracking expenses and budgeting for future projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in the design and operation of mechanical systems.
- Train and supervise junior engineers and technicians in the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors on projects and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Participate in the planning and execution of facility expansion and renovation projects.
- Communicate regularly with management and other stakeholders to provide updates on facility performance and any necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in facility operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all Intel policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Facilities Engineering, Preferably In A High-Tech Manufacturing Environment
Strong Knowledge Of Hvac Systems, Building Automation, And Energy Management
Experience With Project Management And Ability To Lead And Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Ashrae, Nfpa, And Osha.
