- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for improving equipment performance and reliability.
- Monitor and calibrate instrumentation and control systems to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed, including equipment logs and work orders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrumentation and control technology to make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding equipment status, maintenance schedules, and potential issues.
- Provide training and support to other team members on instrumentation and control systems when necessary.
Knowledge Of Instrumentation And Control Systems: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Instrumentation And Control Systems Used In Industrial Facilities, Including Sensors, Controllers, And Plcs. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Programming Languages And Protocols Used In These Systems.
Technical Skills: A Facilities Instrumentation And Controls Technician Should Possess Technical Skills Such As Troubleshooting, Calibration, And Maintenance Of Complex Control Systems. They Should Also Have A Working Knowledge Of Electrical And Mechanical Systems.
