  1. Conducting research and analysis to support facility engineering projects.
  2. Assisting with the design and implementation of mechanical systems for Intel's facilities.
  3. Collaborating with team members and other departments to develop and execute project plans.
  4. Maintaining and updating technical documentation and drawings.
  5. Performing quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  6. Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical systems issues.
  7. Participating in meetings and presentations to share progress and recommendations.
  8. Utilizing engineering software and tools to support project work.
  9. Adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
  10. Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  11. Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
  12. Continuously learning and staying updated on industry advancements and best practices.
  13. Taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the team and project goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Enrolled In An Accredited Mechanical Engineering Program: The Ideal Candidate For This Internship Should Be Currently Enrolled In A Mechanical Engineering Program At An Accredited University Or College. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles And Is Up-To-Date With The Latest Industry Practices.

  • Knowledge Of Cad Software: As A Facilities Engineering Intern, The Candidate Will Be Required To Work On Designing And Modifying Mechanical Systems. Therefore, Proficiency In Cad Software Is A Must-Have Skill For This Role. Familiarity With Other Design And Simulation Software Such As Solidworks And Ansys Is Also A Plus.

  • Understanding Of Hvac Systems: Intel's Facilities Rely Heavily On Hvac (Heating, Ventilation, And Air Conditioning) Systems To Maintain A Comfortable And Safe Working Environment. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Hvac Systems And Their Components, As Well As Experience With Designing And Troubleshooting Them.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: An Internship At Intel Will Require The Candidate To Work On Complex Mechanical Systems And Find Solutions To Engineering Problems. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Identify And Resolve Issues That May Arise During The Internship.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Abilities: Being A Part Of The Facilities Engineering Team At Intel Will Require The Candidate To Work Closely With Other Engineers And Professionals. Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For Collaborating Effectively And Contributing To The Success Of The Team. The Candidate Should Also Be Able To Communicate Technical Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
