Facilities Engineer

Intel is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating and maintaining a safe, efficient, and comfortable work environment for our employees. The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for managing a variety of projects, from the installation and maintenance of building systems to the creation of preventative maintenance plans.The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in engineering or a related field, with at least five years of experience in the maintenance of industrial or commercial facilities. Responsibilities:

1. Install and maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
2. Create and implement preventative maintenance plans for equipment and systems.
3. Monitor building energy use and make recommendations to increase efficiency.
4. Respond to emergency maintenance needs and ensure safety of all personnel.
5. Supervise contractors and vendors performing maintenance and repairs.
6. Troubleshoot and repair industrial or commercial facilities.
7. Manage projects and prioritize work activities.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
9. Prepare and monitor budgets for facility maintenance and repairs.
10. Develop policies and procedures related to facility maintenance.
11. Provide training and guidance to other members of the team.
12. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
13. Communicate effectively with other departments and personnel.
