1. Design and implement the infrastructure for the fabrics group, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
2. Develop and maintain DevOps processes and tools for continuous integration and deployment of fabrics technology.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure smooth operation of fabrics technology.
5. Research and stay updated on the latest technologies and tools in infrastructure engineering and DevOps, and make recommendations for their implementation.
6. Work closely with the fabrics engineering team to understand their needs and optimize the infrastructure for their development, testing, and production environments.
7. Automate tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
8. Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols in all aspects of the infrastructure and DevOps processes.
9. Document infrastructure and DevOps processes, procedures, and configurations.
10. Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and reliability of the fabrics infrastructure.
11. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operation of the fabrics infrastructure.
12. Train and mentor team members on infrastructure engineering and DevOps best practices.
13. Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical infrastructure issues.
