- Identify potential environmental hazards within the organization and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions to educate employees on environmental safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify any potential environmental risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans in case of environmental incidents.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in environmental engineering to continuously improve processes and practices.
- Communicate and coordinate with external agencies and regulatory bodies on environmental compliance matters.
- Analyze data and generate reports on environmental performance, presenting findings to senior management.
- Promote a culture of environmental responsibility and safety throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure their operations align with company's environmental standards.
- Participate in sustainability initiatives and projects to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
- Conduct investigations into any incidents or accidents related to environmental hazards and provide recommendations for prevention.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the company's environmental management system.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or High-Tech Industry.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Environmental And Safety Regulations.
Experience Conducting Risk Assessments, Developing And Implementing Safety Programs, And Conducting Audits And Inspections.
