Job Description

Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for managing and optimizing DNS, DHCP, and IPAM infrastructure? Intel is seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a DNS/DHCP and IPAM Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our global DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems. As a crucial member of our IT team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network and services.   1. Design and implement global DNS, DHCP, and IPAM infrastructure for Intel's network.
  2. Ensure the smooth operation of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems by performing regular maintenance and monitoring.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or outages related to DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
  4. Continuously optimize and improve DNS, DHCP, and IPAM infrastructure to meet the changing needs of the organization.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems into other IT services and projects.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems, including standard operating procedures and architectural diagrams.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to DNS, DHCP, and IPAM, and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems.
  9. Train and mentor other team members on DNS, DHCP, and IPAM best practices and procedures.
  10. Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems.
  11. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and escalations.
  12. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on the status of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems.
  13. Work closely with the network and security teams to ensure proper integration and security of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems.
  14. Identify and implement automation and scripting solutions to streamline DNS, DHCP, and IPAM processes.
  15. Participate in project planning and execution related to DNS, DHCP, and IPAM infrastructure.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working With Dns, Dhcp, And Ipam Technologies In A Large Enterprise Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Network Protocols, Including Tcp/Ip, Dns, Dhcp, And Ipv4/Ipv6.

  • Experience With Implementation, Configuration, And Maintenance Of Dns, Dhcp, And Ipam Systems, Such As Infoblox Or Bluecat.

  • Knowledge Of Scripting Languages, Such As Python Or Perl, For Automation And Customization Of Dns/Dhcp/Ipam Processes.
