
Data Analyst - International Trade

- Perform thorough analysis of data related to international trade, including but not limited to import/export data, trade agreements, tariffs, and trade policies.
- Interpret data and create reports and presentations to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and supply chain, to understand business needs and develop strategies to optimize trade operations.
- Conduct research and stay updated on international trade regulations and policies to ensure compliance and identify potential opportunities for cost savings.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain databases and systems for tracking and analyzing trade data.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to international trade and make recommendations for mitigating and addressing them.
- Communicate and collaborate with international trade partners, such as customs brokers and freight forwarders, to ensure smooth and efficient trade operations.
- Participate in trade audits and provide data and analysis to support compliance efforts.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data collection and analysis processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Train and educate team members on data analysis tools and techniques to improve overall data literacy within the International Trade team.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive trade data.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Economics, International Business, Or A Related Field.
Proficiency In Data Analysis And Statistical Modeling Techniques, Such As Regression Analysis And Machine Learning.
Strong Understanding Of International Trade Policies, Tariffs, And Regulations.
Experience Working With Large Datasets And Data Visualization Tools, Such As Tableau Or Power Bi.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Convey Complex Data And Insights To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
