CSTD Environmental Lab Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations and standards in our laboratory facilities. - Conduct regular audits and inspections of laboratory facilities to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and standards
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize the environmental impact of laboratory operations
- Monitor and analyze air, water, and soil quality in and around the laboratory facilities
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure that all laboratory processes and equipment are environmentally friendly and sustainable
- Keep up-to-date with changes in environmental regulations and make necessary adjustments to maintain compliance
- Communicate with regulatory agencies and obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Provide training and guidance to laboratory staff on proper environmental practices and procedures
- Manage waste management and disposal processes in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for potential environmental hazards
- Investigate and resolve any environmental incidents or issues that arise in the laboratory
- Stay informed about new and emerging technologies in environmental sustainability and make recommendations for their implementation in laboratory operations.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Engineering Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Environmental Engineering Is Essential For A Cstd Environmental Lab Engineer Position At Intel. This Degree Provides The Necessary Technical Knowledge And Skills To Understand And Address Environmental Issues In A Laboratory Setting.
Experience With Environmental Testing And Analysis: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Conducting Environmental Testing And Analysis In A Laboratory Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Testing Methods, Equipment, And Procedures, As Well As The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Test Results.
Knowledge Of Environmental Regulations And Compliance: Cstd Environmental Lab Engineers At Intel Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Environmental Regulations And Compliance Standards, Both At The Local And National Level. This Includes Knowledge Of Environmental Permits, Waste Management, Air And Water Quality Standards, And Other Relevant Regulations.
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: As A Cstd Environmental Lab Engineer, The Ability To Identify And Solve Complex Environmental Problems Is Crucial. This Requires Strong Analytical Skills, Attention To Detail, And The Ability To Think Critically And Creatively.
