Inventing, conceptualizing, and specifying Intel Architecture (IA) ISA features for Intel's next-generation CPUs. Experimentally exploring feature ideas through modeling, simulation, and data analysis. Interacting and communicating with architecture and design teams as well as internal/external customers to achieve project goals. Supporting internal and external software enabling. Technical leadership of distributed projects involving many different sites and disciplines.
8+ years of work experience
Simulator development (functional and/or power/performance) experience
Assembly language programming and debugging skills
Research publications, patent filings, or other evidence of personal technical innovation in computer architecture.
Familiarity with broader computer architecture research through conferences and/or job responsibilities.
