  1. Develop and implement employment policies and practices that align with company values and comply with legal standards.
  2. Provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership on a wide range of employment matters.
  3. Stay up-to-date on changes in employment laws and regulations, and make recommendations for necessary updates to company policies and practices.
  4. Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making related to employment issues.
  5. Collaborate with HR and other cross-functional teams to address and resolve complex employment issues.
  6. Advise and train managers and employees on employment-related legal topics.
  7. Manage and oversee the company's employment litigation, including working with outside counsel.
  8. Negotiate and draft employment-related agreements, such as employment contracts and severance agreements.
  9. Oversee the company's compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  10. Develop and maintain positive relationships with external legal counsel, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  11. Lead and mentor a team of employment attorneys and legal professionals.
  12. Drive a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  13. Ensure that employment-related policies and practices are consistently applied across all levels of the organization.
  14. Communicate and collaborate with global legal teams to ensure consistent and compliant employment practices across international locations.
  15. Participate in company-wide initiatives and projects as a subject matter expert on employment law.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Employment Law, Preferably In A Corporate Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Including Eeo, Ada, Fmla, And Wage And Hour Regulations

  • Experience In Providing Legal Counsel To Hr And Management On A Variety Of Employment-Related Issues

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Outside Counsel And Internal Business Partners.
