Intern - Inventory Buyer

We’re seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented Intern - Inventory Buyer to join our team at Insight Enterprises. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide support to the Inventory Buyers in monitoring and replenishing inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock levels throughout the supply chain.To succeed in this role, you should have an analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and an enthusiasm for problem-solving. We’re looking for an individual who is motivated to take on new challenges and effectively work with stakeholders in various departments.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field, and at least 1 year of related experience. Above all, you should be self-motivated, results-driven, and have a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and replenish inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels throughout the supply chain.
2. Analyze supply chain data and inventory trends to identify potential issues and opportunities.
3. Work with stakeholders in various departments to ensure efficient processes.
4. Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
5. Track inventory orders and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
6. Research and evaluate new vendors and suppliers.
7. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve order issues.
8. Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
9. Develop and implement inventory control systems and procedures.
10. Provide feedback and recommendations to management on inventory management practices.
