Insight Enterprises is looking for a Desktop Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. Our Desktop Engineers are vital to our success, providing technical support and maintenance for our clients. If you have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with two or more years of experience in IT support, desktop support, and/or system administration. You must have strong customer service skills, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a high level of proficiency with Windows operating systems. Experience with network infrastructure and hardware installation is preferred. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and have an excellent eye for detail. A passion for technology and a drive to help our clients succeed is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and maintenance for Insight Enterprises clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems.
- Install and configure network infrastructure and hardware.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of support cases.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Ensure systems are secure and up to date.
- Monitor systems for potential issues.
- Stay up-to-date on new technology and industry trends.
