  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive alliances and communities strategy to support IBM's global growth and client engagement initiatives.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and community leaders to drive collaboration and foster a culture of innovation.
  3. Lead a team of alliance managers and community engagement specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of partnership and community initiatives.
  4. Identify and prioritize potential new partnerships and communities that align with IBM's business objectives and target markets.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive alignment and maximize the impact of partnerships and community engagement.
  6. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify potential areas for partnership or community development.
  7. Represent IBM at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and foster new relationships.
  8. Develop and manage budgets for alliance and community programs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  9. Track and report on the success of alliance and community initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  10. Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert on alliance management and community engagement, providing guidance and support to other teams within IBM.

Job Qualifications
  • Proven Leadership Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Global Or International Setting. They Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Growing Diverse Teams, As Well As Developing And Executing Strategic Plans.

  • Technical Expertise: The Worldwide Client Engineering Alliances & Communities Leader Will Be Responsible For Driving Technical Partnerships And Collaborations, Therefore They Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Deep Understanding Of The It Industry. This Includes A Thorough Knowledge Of Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, And Emerging Technologies.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Will Involve Working With A Wide Range Of Stakeholders, Both Internally And Externally. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As Experience In Public Speaking And Presenting To Large Audiences.

  • Business Acumen: The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For Driving Revenue Growth Through Partnerships And Alliances. Therefore, They Should Have A Strong Business Acumen And A Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Business Strategies.

  • Global Mindset: As A Worldwide Leader, The Candidate Should Have A Global Mindset And Be Able To Navigate Different Cultures And Markets. They Should Have Experience Working In A Global Environment And Be Comfortable Collaborating With Teams Located In Different Parts Of The World. Fluency In Multiple Languages May Also Be A Plus.
