- Conduct thorough and comprehensive testing of IBM products to identify any potential defects or issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop testing strategies.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate product functionality.
- Utilize various testing tools and techniques to ensure the accuracy and completeness of product testing.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues found during testing, and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Communicate test results and findings to team members and management, and participate in defect triage meetings.
- Continuously improve and optimize testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Contribute to the overall quality and reliability of IBM products by identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all testing activities.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Act as a subject matter expert in verification and testing methodologies, providing guidance and support to team members.
Strong Understanding Of Verification Methodologies: A Verification Engineer (Triage) At Ibm Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Verification Methodologies, Such As Uvm, Ovm, And Vmm. They Should Also Have Experience With Industry-Standard Tools, Such As Cadence Incisive And Mentor Graphics Questa.
Experience In Triaging Complex Issues: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Triaging Complex Issues In A Fast-Paced Environment. They Should Have A Systematic Approach To Debugging And Problem-Solving, As Well As The Ability To Quickly Identify The Root Cause Of Issues.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Protocols: Ibm Works With Various Industry Standards And Protocols, Such As Pcie, Usb, And Ethernet. The Verification Engineer (Triage) Should Have A Strong Understanding Of These Standards And Protocols To Effectively Verify The Functionality Of Ibm Products.
Programming Skills: A Verification Engineer (Triage) At Ibm Should Have Strong Programming Skills, Particularly In Languages Such As Systemverilog, Verilog, And C++. They Should Also Have Experience With Scripting Languages, Such As Perl, Python, And Tcl, To Automate Verification Tasks.
