  1. Conduct thorough and ongoing assessments of potential risks posed by vendors to IBM data and assets.
  2. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies and procedures to mitigate identified risks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and select vendors based on their risk profile and compliance with IBM standards.
  4. Communicate regularly with vendors to ensure they understand and adhere to IBM's risk management requirements.
  5. Monitor and track vendor risk levels and provide timely reports to senior management.
  6. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to vendor risk management.
  7. Identify and address any gaps or weaknesses in current risk management processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Conduct regular audits of vendor risk management processes and controls.
  9. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on vendor risk management practices.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert on vendor risk management, providing guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  11. Attend industry events and conferences to stay informed on emerging trends and advancements in risk management.
  12. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams to facilitate effective risk management processes.
  13. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure vendor contracts include appropriate risk management provisions.
  14. Handle any escalated issues or incidents related to vendor risk management in a timely and effective manner.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve vendor risk management processes to keep pace with a constantly evolving technology landscape.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Vendors.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Vendor Risk Management, Procurement, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Vendor Risk Management Frameworks, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements (E.g. Gdpr, Hipaa, Iso 27001).

  • Proficiency In Risk Assessment And Mitigation Techniques, As Well As Experience Conducting Vendor Due Diligence And Developing Risk Mitigation Strategies.
