  1. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to promote positive employee-employer relationships within the organization.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for all labor relations matters, including handling grievances, disputes, and negotiations with employee unions.
  3. Stay up-to-date with current labor laws and regulations in the United States and ensure compliance within the organization.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, HR teams, and employees at all levels.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as labor unions, government agencies, and industry associations.
  6. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure understanding and alignment on labor relations policies and practices.
  7. Conduct investigations and provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training programs on labor relations policies and practices.
  9. Provide guidance and support to managers on complex labor relations matters, ensuring a consistent approach across the organization.
  10. Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to labor relations and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  11. Uphold IBM's values of diversity and inclusion in all labor relations activities and promote a culture of fairness and respect within the organization.
  12. Continuously monitor and analyze labor relations trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to drive continuous improvement.
  13. Represent IBM in external forums and industry events related to labor relations, showcasing our company as a leader in this area.
  14. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on labor relations activities, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Labor Relations, Preferably In A Large Corporate Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Labor Laws And Regulations.

  • Experience Negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements And Resolving Labor Disputes.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
