Test Specialist - Automation

This person should have a deep knowledge of automation testing processes and have a proven track record of success in this field.The ideal candidate for this role will possess a minimum of three years of experience in software testing, specifically with automation. They should be comfortable with scripting and have experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Additionally, this individual should have a strong familiarity with the complete software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and deployment.We seek an individual who is eager to learn and grow within our organization and is capable of working independently and as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to proactively identify and solve problems, are a must.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain test automation scripts to ensure software quality
2. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality
3. Monitor automated test execution results and take appropriate corrective action
4. Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects
5. Participate in daily scrum meetings to provide updates and progress on assigned tasks
6. Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software meets business requirements
7. Prepare detailed reports on test results and provide feedback to stakeholders
8. Work closely with software developers to ensure proper software development life cycle processes are followed
9. Create and maintain testing documentation such as test plans, test cases, and test scripts
10. Contribute to the development of test strategies and plans for projects
