  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the Alberta energy market.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in energy companies in the region.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the energy sector to expand our client base.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  5. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities.
  6. Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  7. Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  8. Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to achieve targets.
  9. Mentor and coach junior sales team members to help them achieve their goals.
  10. Represent IBM at industry events and conferences to network and promote our solutions.

  13. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts to senior management.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Energy Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Energy Industry In Alberta, Including The Trends, Challenges, And Key Players. This Knowledge Will Enable Them To Effectively Identify And Target Potential Clients And Understand Their Needs.

  • Proven Sales Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successful Sales In The Technology Industry, Preferably In The Energy Sector. They Should Be Able To Demonstrate Their Ability To Generate Leads, Build And Maintain Relationships, And Close Deals.

  • Technical Aptitude: While A Sales Leader Does Not Necessarily Need To Be A Technical Expert, They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Ibm's Technology Solutions And How They Can Be Applied To The Energy Industry. This Will Allow Them To Effectively Communicate The Value Of Ibm's Offerings To Potential Clients.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Sales Leader, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Sales Representatives. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Set And Achieve Sales Targets, And Effectively Communicate With Colleagues And Superiors.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: A Successful Technology Sales Leader Should Have Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills.
