- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure coding practices and standards.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in applications.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and recommend solutions to prevent them.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback on security best practices.
- Participate in the development and delivery of training programs on application security.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing security processes and procedures.
- Document findings, recommendations and solutions in clear and concise reports.
- Stay updated on IBM’s technology and offerings to effectively present solutions to clients.
- Represent IBM at industry conferences and events to showcase expertise in application security.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Application Security, Preferably In A Consulting Role.
Strong Understanding Of Various Programming Languages, Databases, And Operating Systems.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Best Practices For Application Security, Such As Owasp Top 10 And Sans Cwe Top 25.
