  1. Conduct thorough analysis of the total cost of ownership (TCO) for our products, including pricing, maintenance and support costs, and other relevant factors.
  2. Research and analyze the competitive landscape for our products, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for growth and improvement.
  3. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, their features, and their competitive advantages in the market.
  4. Use data-driven insights to make informed recommendations on pricing strategies and product positioning to drive business growth.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop and implement effective TCO and competitive analysis strategies.
  6. Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential threats and opportunities for our products.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key industry analysts and influencers to stay informed on market trends and competitive insights.
  8. Present analysis and recommendations to senior leadership, providing clear and concise insights to inform decision-making.
  9. Continuously improve and refine TCO and competitive analysis processes to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for the sales and marketing teams, providing guidance and support for TCO and competitive analysis-related inquiries.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to TCO and competitive analysis, and incorporate them into our strategies as appropriate.
  12. Collaborate with product management to ensure TCO and competitive analysis insights are incorporated into product roadmaps and development plans.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: As A Tco & Competitive Analysis Product Manager At Ibm, The Ability To Analyze Market Trends, Competitor Strategies, And Financial Data Is Crucial. This Role Requires A Candidate Who Can Effectively Gather And Interpret Data To Make Informed Decisions And Recommendations.

  • Product Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Product Management, Preferably In The Technology Industry. This Includes Developing Product Strategies, Conducting Market Research, And Managing Product Lifecycles.

  • Understanding Of Total Cost Of Ownership (Tco): Tco Is A Critical Aspect Of This Role, And The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of How To Calculate And Analyze It. This Includes Knowledge Of Cost Drivers, Cost-Saving Strategies, And The Ability To Communicate Tco Data To Stakeholders.

  • Competitive Analysis Expertise: A Tco & Competitive Analysis Product Manager At Ibm Must Have Experience In Conducting Competitive Analysis And Market Research. This Includes Identifying Key Competitors, Analyzing Their Strengths And Weaknesses, And Providing Insights To Guide Product Strategy.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Involves Working With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Sales, Marketing, And Product Development. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Work With These Teams And Present Findings And Recommendations To Senior Management.
