  4. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  5. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in IBM Z technologies and software development.
  6. Continuously improve and optimize existing software applications.
  7. Write and maintain technical documentation for developed software.
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  9. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  10. Proactively identify and suggest improvements to enhance the overall performance and user experience of software applications.
  11. Maintain a high level of quality and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
  12. Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, to deliver projects within set timelines.
  13. Mentor and train junior developers on IBM Z technologies and software development processes.
  14. Collaborate with other departments, such as QA and IT, to ensure smooth deployments and releases.
  15. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in IBM Z technologies, and share knowledge with the team.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Mainframe Technologies: As A Sw Developer For Ibm Z, The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding And Experience In Mainframe Technologies Such As Cobol, Assembler, Pl/I, And Jcl.

  • Knowledge Of Ibm Z Systems: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Ibm Z Systems And Their Architecture, Including The Z/Os Operating System, Z/Vm Virtualization, And Z/Tpf Transaction Processing.
