SIT Senior Quality Engineer

1. Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures for the SIT division to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and review product requirements, specifications, and design documents.
3. Conduct thorough testing and analysis of systems and products to identify and report any defects or issues.
4. Lead and mentor junior quality engineers to ensure their professional growth and development.
5. Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of processes and systems, and make recommendations for improvements.
6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and incorporate them into the division's processes.
7. Collaborate with project managers to establish quality goals and timelines, and track progress towards meeting them.
8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and management to provide updates on quality metrics and issues.
9. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
10. Drive the implementation of quality initiatives, such as Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, to improve overall product quality and efficiency.
11. Work closely with development teams to understand and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide solutions to ensure product quality.
12. Participate in customer meetings and provide support as a subject matter expert on quality-related topics.
13. Maintain and update quality documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.
14. Proactively identify potential risks and escalate them to the appropriate teams for resolution.
15. Represent the company as a quality expert at conferences, seminars, and other industry events.
