- Design and implement secure access controls for clients' sensitive data, specifically utilizing Privileged Access Management (PAM) technology.
- Utilize expertise in PAM to ensure that only authorized users have privileged access to critical systems and data.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to identify and understand their specific access control needs.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for privileged access management, following industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks related to privileged access.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to PAM implementation and operation.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in PAM technology and recommend updates or enhancements as needed.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of privileged access and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Train and educate team members and clients on proper usage and management of PAM tools.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for PAM and provide guidance and support to other team members as needed.
- Collaborate with other cybersecurity professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy for clients.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in privileged access management and apply them to improve our services.
- Communicate regularly with clients and provide timely updates on PAM projects and initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to all company and client security policies.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvement efforts.
Extensive Experience In Privileged Access Management (Pam): A Senior Iam Specialist Must Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Managing Pam Solutions For Large Organizations. This Experience Should Include Hands-On Experience With Industry-Leading Tools Such As Cyberark, Thycotic, Or Beyondtrust.
Strong Understanding Of Iam Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Identity And Access Management (Iam) Principles, Including Authentication, Authorization, And Access Control. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry Standards Such As Saml, Oauth, And Openid Connect.
Expertise In Iam Technologies: A Senior Iam Specialist Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Iam Technologies Such As Active Directory, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (Ldap), And Single Sign-On (Sso). They Should Also Have Experience With Scripting Languages Such As Powershell, Python, Or Java To Automate Pam Processes.
Project Management Skills: As A Senior Iam Specialist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading Pam Projects From Start To Finish. This Requires Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Create Project Plans, Manage Timelines And Budgets, And Communicate Effectively With Stakeholders.
