  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the Db2 product line, including identifying key target markets, defining product positioning, and creating sales plans.
  2. Lead and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth for Db2.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and execution of the go-to-market strategy.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and customer needs, and use this information to inform product development and sales strategies.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive sales and promote the value of Db2.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions to optimize sales performance.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and developments in the database industry to ensure the continued success of Db2 in the marketplace.
  8. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and product strategy.
  9. Collaborate with the product development team to identify and prioritize new features and enhancements for Db2 based on customer feedback and market demand.
  10. Continuously monitor and assess the competitive landscape to identify potential threats and opportunities for the Db2 product line.
  11. Act as a brand ambassador for IBM and the Db2 product line, promoting the product and company at industry events and conferences.
  12. Drive a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation within the sales team to achieve business objectives and foster a positive work environment.
