- Design and develop state-of-the-art RF and microwave systems to support IBM's product portfolio.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify new technologies and techniques for improving RF and microwave designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and integrate RF/microwave components into overall system design.
- Utilize simulation and modeling tools to optimize system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Perform thorough testing and validation of RF and microwave designs to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RF and microwave components and systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in RF/microwave technology to inform product development strategies.
- Communicate project progress and results to team members, stakeholders, and management.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise and recommendations for improvement.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on RF/microwave design principles and best practices.
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards in all design and development activities.
- Continuously improve and streamline design processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate RF/microwave components.
- Represent IBM in industry conferences and events to showcase expertise in RF and microwave engineering.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, With A Focus On Rf And Microwave Design.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Rf/Microwave Design, Preferably In The Telecommunications Or Aerospace Industry.
Proficiency In Industry-Standard Design Tools Such As Ads, Hfss, And Cst.
Knowledge Of Rf/Microwave Component And Subsystem Design, Including Amplifiers, Filters, Mixers, And Antennas.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Optimize Complex Rf/Microwave Systems.
