- Oversee and manage all aspects of real estate and facilities operations for IBM, including maintenance, renovations, and safety and security protocols.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective use of company facilities, including cost-saving initiatives and sustainability efforts.
- Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to understand and meet their facility needs and requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of company facilities to identify and address any potential issues or concerns.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective services are provided.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of facility operations, expenses, and maintenance schedules.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans to ensure the safety of all employees and visitors.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in real estate and facilities management, and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed.
- Train and mentor staff members on facilities operations procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to facilities and real estate operations.
Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Real Estate, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Facilities Management Or Real Estate Operations.
Knowledge Of Local And State Building Codes, Regulations, And Safety Standards.
Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Vendors, Contractors, And Internal Teams.
